Section 17-659-43 - Conduct of workers

(a) TLF workers shall be expected to conduct themselves as would regular employees of the sponsoring agency.

(b) The assistance unit, which includes a TLF worker, shall be subject to a reduction in grant or disqualification from the general assistance program for unexcused absences, tardiness, or infractions of the sponsoring agency's rules and policies by the TLF worker.

(1) Unexcused absences, if not made up, totaling less than one-half the number of assigned work days in a given month shall require a reduction of the assistance unit's assistance grant on a prorated basis.

(2) Unexcused absences, if not made up, totaling one-half or more of a number of assigned work days in a given month shall result in disqualifying the assistance unit from assistance. The disqualification shall be in accordance with the provisions of section 17-659-27.
