Section 17-655-29 - Financial assistance payment for a recipient or applicant in a medical institution

(a) A recipient shall continue to receive assistance for up to sixty days after admission to any medical institution, other than a long term care facility or a medical institution for tuberculosis, mental disease, or mental retardation, if the attending physician certifies that the recipient will be able to return to an independent living arrangement or a residential treatment facility within sixty days.
(b) An applicant in a medical institution, other than a long term care facility or medical institution for tuberculosis, mental disease, or mental retardation, shall receive assistance for up to sixty days provided the following conditions are met:
(c) This section shall not apply to residents in a domiciliary care home.
