Section 17-653-2 - Definitions

As used in this chapter:

"Assignment" means assigning to the department, in writing, the right to obtain child, spousal, or medical support and other third party payments.

"Caretaker relative" means a relative who provides care and supervision to children.

"Family" means person or persons applying for or receiving assistance.

"Third party" means any individual, entity, or program that is or may be liable to pay all or part of the expenditures for medical assistance furnished.

"Title IVD" means title IVD of the Social Security Act, child support enforcement program ( 42 U.S.C. §§651 through 658, 660, 664, 666, 667, 1302, and 1396 a(25))
