The owner may evict a tenant provided the requirements of chapter 521, Hawaii Revised Statutes, have been complied with. The owner must notify the authority, in writing, of the commencement of procedures for termination of the tenancy at the same time that the owner gives notice to the tenant under chapter 521, Hawaii Revised Statutes.
