Section 17-1722-93 - Termination of LIS benefits

Benefits for the LIS shall be terminated effective the first day of the month following the month in which the recipient is found ineligible if the conditions of adverse notice are met in accordance with chapter 17-1713. Reasons for termination include, but are not limited to, the following:

(1) Loss of Medicare eligibility;

(2) An eligibility redetermination is not completed as the recipient failed to provide the department with requested verification or provide a completed eligibility redetermination form;

(3) Loss of residency;

(4) Inmate of a public institution; or

(5) Enrollment in PACE.
