(a) A foster child shall be cared for as a family member.
(b) To ensure the positive transition of a child into the resource family home, the resource family may be asked to meet with the child's parent(s) or caretaker(s) prior to placement of the child into the resource family home to facilitate the child's adjustment into foster care.
(c) The resource -family shall immediately inform the agency of any changes that would impact on their ability to care for the child.
