Section 16-97-31 - Abandonment of application

If an applicant fails to obtain a license within one year after filing the application, or fails to take the examination within a one-year period after becoming eligible to take the examination, the application shall be considered abandoned and all fees shall be forfeited. An application submitted subsequent to the abandonment shall be considered as a new application.
