Section 16-95-24 - Pharmacy intern permit

(a) An application for a permit to work as a pharmacy intern may be filed at any time. The board may delegate to the board's executive officer the authority to issue a pharmacy intern permit to qualified applicants.

(b) An applicant shall provide verification that the applicant is currently enrolled in or is a graduate of a college of pharmacy which has received candidate status with or has been accredited by the ACPE.

(c) An official transcript showing the date of graduation, or a letter from the dean or registrar that the applicant is currently enrolled at an ACPE accredited college of pharmacy shall be submitted with the application.

(d) The applicant shall provide the name and license number of the supervising pharmacist and the name and address of the pharmacy at which the applicant is employed or will be employed.
