Section 16-89-63 - Disciplinary action

(a) In disciplining a licensee pursuant to a proceeding held in accordance with chapter 91, HRS, and chapter 16-201, the board, in addition to having the power to deny, revoke, or suspend any license to practice nursing may limit the license by restricting the field of practice in which the licensee may engage in, place the licensee on probation, or both.

(b) The board may impose conditions and shall determine whether and when limitations or conditions shall be removed with respect to a registered nurse or a licensed practical nurse who has been placed on probation, or whose license has been suspended or limited in any way.
