Section 16-73-3 - Notification and filing of names, addresses, and changes

(a) Each person holding a license, permit, or any other authority to practice or engage in any activity in the State, under any and all laws administered by the board, shall file the person's proper and current mailing address with the board and shall immediately notify the board in writing of any and all changes which occur.

(b) In addition to the requirements of subsection (a), each holder of a license to operate a barber shop shall file the name and location of the barber shop, the name and license number of the barber in charge of the shop, and in the case of a partnership or a corporation, shall also file with the board the names and addresses of the partners or officers and directors, as the case may be, and shall notify the board within ten days of any and all changes which occur. Licenses are not transferable.

If a barber shop changes ownership it is considered a new shop. A barber shop that is remodeled and reopened on the same site as an existing shop and under the same ownership shall not be considered a new shop.
