(a) When criminal enforcement is authorized by law, the commission or its enforcement officer may issue a criminal citation to any person violating, allegedly violating, or suspected of violating any regulatory law for which the criminal enforcement is authorized. The form, content, and service of the criminal citation shall be as adopted or prescribed by the district courts of the State.
(b) The procedure for contesting and enforcing a criminal citation shall be as adopted or prescribed by the jurisdictional courts of the State.
