Section 16-601-131 - Brief opposing exceptions

(a) Within ten working days after being served with the exceptions taken to the hearings officer's report or within such additional time as may be allowed by the hearings officer, a party may file with the commission a brief opposing the exceptions, and shall serve a copy of the brief upon each party and the hearings officer.
(b) The brief opposing the exceptions shall:
(1) State the
facts and reasons why the report and recommendations should be
affirmed;
(2) Answer specifically
the points of procedure, fact, law, or policy to which exceptions were taken;
and
(3) Designate by page citation
the portions of the record relied upon.
