Section 16-23-106 - Physician assistants

Attending health care providers may prescribe treatment in their discipline to be carried out by persons certified or licensed to provide the service. Fees for services provided by certified or licensed physician assistants under Hawaii law shall be sixty per cent of the fees authorized by section 16-23-115. Fees for services provided by assistants not certified or licensed shall be fifty per cent of the fees authorized by section 16-23-115.
