Section 16-23-78 - Allowances to servicing carriers

Servicing carriers shall be reimbursed for their servicing expenses on the basis of:
(1) Non-CPAI:
(A) Ten per cent of written premium
for operating costs, excluding claims expense, plus;
(B) Twelve per cent of earned premium for the
reporting period for loss adjustment expenses, both allocated or direct and
unallocated or indirect, for liability coverage; and
(C) Ten per cent of earned premium for the
reporting period for physical damage coverages;
(2) CPAI:
(A) Six per cent of written premium for
operating costs, excluding claims expense, plus;
(B) Twelve per cent of earned premium for the
reporting period for loss adjustment expenses, both allocated or direct and
unallocated or indirect, for liability coverage.
