Section 16-169-1 - Purpose

The purpose of this subchapter is to prescribe:

(1) Guidelines and standards for statements of actuarial opinion which are to be submitted in accordance with section 431:5-307(j), HRS, and for memoranda in support thereof;

(2) The meaning of "adequacy of reserves"; and

(3) Rules applicable to the appointment of an appointed actuary.
