Section 16-114-8 - Delegation of authority

The director may delegate any of the director's powers and duties as the director deems reasonable and proper, provided that the director shall not delegate the director's power and duty to:
(1) Adopt, amend, or repeal rules;
(2) Order disciplinary action against a licensee or certificate holder; including the revocation, suspension, or imposition of fine; and
(3) Grant, deny, renew, refuse to renew, or otherwise condition a license or certificate unless the granting, denying, refusal to renew, or conditioning of a license or certificate does not require the exercise of the director's expertise and discretion.
