Section 16-114-104 - Disciplinary action

(a) The director, after a hearing in accordance with chapter 91, HRS, may order one or more of the following remedies as appropriate relief:

(1) Refunding the money paid as fees for services;

(2) Correcting the work done in providing services;

(3) Revoking the license or certificate;

(4) Suspending the license or certificate;

(5) Imposing a fine; and

(6) Any other reasonable means to secure relief as determined by the director.

(b) In addition, the violation of any condition or limitation on a license or certificate may be cause to impose additional sanctions against the appraiser. Any fine imposed by the director after a hearing in accordance with chapter 91, HRS, shall be no less than $1,000 for each violation, and each day of violation may be deemed a separate violation.
