Section 16-100-42 - Payment

(a) Licenses shall expire on December 31 of each odd-numbered year and shall be renewed biennially thereafter. Application for renewal shall be made on a form provided by the board and accompanied by the prescribed fee as provided by the department of commerce and consumer affairs in chapter 16-53.

(b) Renewal fees paid by mail shall be considered paid when due if the envelope transmitting the fee bears a postmark of December 31 or any prior date.

(c) A fee paid by check which is later returned by the bank for insufficient funds or other reasons shall be considered not paid on the date first remitted.
