Section 13-198-11 - Nomination and approval procedure

(a) A nomination of a building, structure, object, district, or site for entry into the national register shall be made by the preservation officer in accordance with the procedures, including notification and hearing procedures, set forth in this chapter and in title 36, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 60.

(b) If the owner of private property properly objects to the nomination of the property onto the national register then the property shall not be included in the national register but shall only be considered for determination of eligibility pursuant to 36 CFR §60.6.
