Section 13-55-2 - Prohibited activities

(a) No person shall engage in the following activities within that portion of Kawaihae Harbor bounded by a line as delineated in the "Map of Kawaihae Harbor, Hawaii 5/22/89", located at the end of this chapter:

(1) Fish with more than two lines, or two poles or rods and lines;

(2) Snag or attempt to snag any fish; and

(3) Use any type of nets, except hand nets not exceeding three feet (0.92 meter) in any dimension to take shrimp or nehu for bait purposes only, or to land fish already hooked.

(b) Nothing in this chapter shall be construed as allowing activities within any portion of the Kawaihae Harbor which may be otherwise prohibited by law or rules adopted by the department of transportation
