Section 12-55-5 - Principal HIOSH investigator

The principal HIOSH investigator shall be the HIOSH employee, in each instance of access to personally identifiable employee medical information, who is made primarily responsible for ensuring that the examination and use of this information is performed in the manner prescribed by a written access order and the requirements of sections 12-55-6 through 12-55-18. When access is pursuant to a written access order, the principal HIOSH investigator shall be professionally trained in medicine, public health, or allied fields such as epidemiology, toxicology, industrial hygiene, biostatistics, and environmental health.
