Section 20.1.4.1 is amended by adding a new subsection to read as follows: "20.1.4.1.3 A floor plan indicating the seating arrangements, location and width of exit ways and aisles shall be submitted to the AHJ for review for places of assembly with an occupant load of 300 or more persons. A copy of the plan shall be kept on display on the premises. An exit plan shall also be posted in a conspicuous location near the main entrance and shall be maintained in a legible condition by the owner or an authorized agent.

Management of the event or business shall be responsible for the inspection before each show or event of all required means of egress from each part of the building, including stairways, egress doors and any panic hardware installed thereon, aisles and corridors. Passageways and similar elements of the means of egress shall be available for immediate use and free of all obstructions before each show or event. Management shall inform all patrons of all required exit locations before each show or event in places of assembly with an occupant load of 300 or more persons."
