Section 13.1.1 is amended by adding a second paragraph to read as follows: "Fire alarm systems; fire hydrant systems; fire-extinguishing systems; standpipes; and other fire-protection systems and appurtenances required by this code shall be approved by the AHJ as to installation and location and shall be subject to acceptance tests required by the appropriate county agency."
