Section 12-44-55 - Recommended decision

When an appeal is heard by a hearing officer, the hearing officer, within sixty days after the close of the reception of evidence or the filing of any memoranda or proposed findings permitted by the hearing officer, shall make and file with the council a recommended decision which shall include recommended findings of fact and conclusions of law. If any party has been permitted to file proposed findings of fact, the hearing officer shall incorporate in the recommended decision a ruling on each proposed finding so presented.
