Section 12-44-45 - Time and place of hearing and notice

If the appeal is to be heard by the council, it shall set the time and place of hearing and the chairperson or designated representative shall give written notice thereof to the appellant. Unless otherwise directed by the council, when the hearing of an appeal is assigned to a hearing officer, the hearing officer shall set the time and place of hearing and give written notice thereof to the appellant.
