Section 12-43-252 - Procedure in conducting preliminary investigation

The preliminary investigation shall be conducted by the board in the manner and at the places as shall be deemed suitable and appropriate under the circumstances with due regard for the purpose and intent of section 380-14(b) and (c), HRS. The preliminary investigation may be conducted ex parte, and the board may proceed without the presence of all parties concerned. The board shall give notice immediately to all parties concerned regarding the preliminary investigation, and shall afford reasonable opportunity to all parties concerned to present all relevant and material facts pertinent to the inquiry.
