Section 12-43-208 - Runoff election

(a) The board shall conduct a runoff election in any election where no choice on the ballot receives a majority of valid votes cast. The runoff ballot shall provide for selection between the two choices receiving the largest and second largest number of valid votes cast in the election.

(b) Employees who were eligible to vote in the election and who are in an eligible category on the date of the runoff election shall be eligible to vote in the runoff election.
