(a) This chapter sets forth the state plan for equal employment opportunity in apprenticeship programs which are registered with, the department in accordance with chapter 372, Hawaii Revised Statutes, and chapter 30, title 12 Administrative Rules.
(b) The purpose of this state plan is to:
(1) Promote equality of
opportunity in apprenticeship programs by prohibiting discriminatory practices
as@cited in section 378-2, Hawaii Reviged Statutes; and
(2) Require affirmative action to provide
equal opportunity in such apprenticeship programs.
