(a) Minors between ten and fourteen years of age may engage in coffee harvesting during the hours from six o'clock a.m. to six o'clock p.m. on any day when the school at which the minors are registered is not in session, and subject to the following limitations:
(1) The minors shall not be
permitted to work for more than two consecutive hours without a rest period of
at least fifteen minutes, nor for more than four consecutive hours without a
meal period of at least one hour; and
(2) The minors shall not be permitted to work
for more than six hours during any one day or more than thirty hours in any one
week nor for more than five consecutive days.
(b) Minors below the age of twelve years shall not be permitted to use any harvesting equipment while engaged in coffee harvesting except holding hooks which are free of any attachments or accessories and baskets or containers used to carry coffee berries, nor shall they be permitted to carry loads in excess of fifteen pounds.
