Section 12-24-8 - Amendment of complaint

(a) A complaint, or any part thereof, may be amended by the complainant at any time prior to the issuance of a notice of hearing and thereafter at the discretion of the hearing officer.
(b) The amended complaint shall be deemed to have been filed on the original filing date.
(c) The department shall promptly serve a copy of the amended complaint on the respondent by certified mail, return receipt requested, or by personal delivery.
