Section 12-20-13 - Computation of time

The time in which any act provided by this chapter is to be done is computed by excluding the first day and including the last, unless the last day is a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday and then it is also excluded. As used in this chapter, "holiday" includes any day designated as such pursuant to section 8-1, Hawaii Revised Statutes.
