Section 12-12-70 - Entitlement to premium supplementation

(a) "Less than eight employees" shall mean the total number of employees who are entitled to and covered as of the twelfth day of each calendar month. An employer who provides coverage to eight or more employees entitled to coverage in a month shall not qualify for premium supplementation for that month.
(b) An employer must be in business for profit to qualify for premium supplementation.
(c) Premium supplementation for the employer's taxable year shall be awarded for those months in that taxable year in which the employer satisfies the requirements of section 393-45, HRS.
