(a) Each training course shall be taught by a department-approved instructor. Approval shall be based upon a review of the instructors academic credentials and/or field experience in asbestos abatement. The training provider must notify the department in advance whenever it changes course instructors.
(b) At a minimum, the instructor shall:
(1) Have one year of experience performing
the functions for the class being taught, and hold current certification in
that discipline; or
(2) Have six
months of teaching experience and have held certification in the discipline
being taught.
