Section 10-4.1-23 - Water spigots

(a) The department may provide water spigots connected to public water systems. The water spigot shall be labeled with the appropriate public water system number as issued by the department of health. Each water spigot, and water spigot area, shall be maintained by the department in a manner suitable for lessee access to potable water.

(b) Each spigot shall be metered and the commission shall set the maximum amount that may be drawn from each spigot during a single billing cycle.

(c) The department shall manage access to the spigot by reasonable means.

(d) The department may restrict spigot use during time of water restrictions.

(e) The department guarantees potable water only to the point of withdrawal from the public water system.
