ADMINISTRATIVE HISTORY

The Administrative History following each Rule gives the date on which the Rule was originally filed and its effective date, as well as the date on which any amendment or repeal was filed and its effective date. Principal abbreviations used in the Administrative History are as follows:

Note: Emergency Rules are listed in each Rule's Administrative History by Emergency Rule number, date filed and effective date. The Emergency Rule will be in effect for 120 days or until the effective date of a permanent Rule covering the same subject matter superseding this Emergency Rule is adopted, as specified by the Agency.

Chapter 85-1 entitled "Boxing Regulations" has been adopted. Filed May 30, 1984; effective June 19, 1984.

Rule 85-1-.03, .04, and .05 have been amended. Filed March 25, 1985; effective April 14, 1985.

Rule 85-1-.01 has been amended. Rules 85-1-.08 and .09 have been adopted. Filed June 11, 1987; effective July 1, 1987.

Rules 85-1-.01 to .08 have been repealed and new Rules adopted. Filed June 11, 1999; effective July 1, 1999.

Chapter 85-1 has been repealed and a new Chapter adopted. Filed December 2, 2002; effective January 1, 2003, as specified by the Agency.

Rules 85-1-.02, .04, .05, .07, and .08 have been amended. Filed December 16, 2003; effective January 5, 2004.

Chapter 85-1 has been repealed and a new Chapter adopted. Chapters 85-2 entitled "Amateur Mixed Martial Arts" and 85-3 entitled "Professional Mixed Martial Arts" have been adopted. Filed June 11, 2007; effective July 1, 2007.

Rule 85-2-.06 has been adopted. Filed December 11, 2008; effective December 31, 2008.

Rule 85-1-.07 has been amended. Filed December 23, 2008; effective January 12, 2009.

Rule 85-1-.02 has been amended by the repeal of subsections (2) and (7)(b)3.(i) and by the adoption of new subsections (2) and (7)(b)3.(i). Filed June 9, 2010; effective July 1, 2010, as specified by the Agency.

Chapter 85-4 entitled "Full Contact Kickboxing, International Rules Kickboxing, and Thaiboxing (Muay Thai Kickboxing)" has been adopted. Filed May 24, 2011; effective June 13, 2011.
