Note: Emergency Rules are listed in each Rule's Administrative History by Emergency Rule number, date filed and effective date. The Emergency Rule will be in effect for 120 days or until the effective date of a permanent Rule covering the same subject matter superseding this Emergency Rule is adopted, as specified by the Agency.

Emergency Rules 616-1-1-0.1 and 616-1-2-0.2 were filed March 23, 1995; effective April 1, 1995, to remain in effect for a period of 120 days or until the effective date of a permanent Rule superseding these Emergency Rules, as specified by the Agency. Said Emergency Rules were adopted "in order that the Office can meet its statutory responsibility to conduct administrative hearings for all covered state agencies". (Said Emergency Rules will not be published; copies may be obtained from the Agency.) Emergency Rules 616-1-1-0.1 and 616-1-1-0.2 have been repealed and Chapters 616-1-1 entitled "Organization of OSAH" and 616-1-2 entitled "Procedures for Administrative Hearings before OSAH Administrative Law Judge" adopted. Filed June 30, 1995; effective July 20, 1995.

Emergency Rule 616-1-2-0.3-.04(6) was filed July 18, 1996 having become effective July 19, 1996, the date of adoption, to remain in effect thru August 4, 1996, as specified by the Agency. Said Emergency Rule was adopted to "govern the operating hours of the Office of State Administrative Hearings during the Olympic period. . . ." (Emergency Rule will not be published; copies may be obtained from the Agency.)

Chapters 616-1-1 and 616-1-2 have been amended. Filed February 27, 1997; effective March 19, 1997.

Rules 616-1-1-.06 and .07 have been adopted. Rules 616-1-2-.04, .05, .07, .15, .17, .18, .21, .28, .30, .35, .36, and .42 have been amended. Filed December 12, 2003; effective January 1, 2004.

Rule 616-1-1-.02 has been amended. Filed July 13, 2004; effective August 2, 2004.

Rules 616-1-1-.01, .06, .07, 616-1-2-.01, .06, .07, .09, .10, .11, .14, .15, .16, .18, .21, .22, .23, .25, .26, .27, .29, .30, .33, .34, .35, and .38 have been amended. Rules 616-1-1-.02, .03, .04, .05, 616-1-2-.02, .03, .04, .05, .08, .12, .13, .17, .19, .20, .24, .28, .31, .32, .36, .39, .40, .41, .42, and .43 have been repealed and New Rules adopted. Filed November 15, 2010; effective December 5, 2010.

Rules 616-1-2-.22 and 616-1-2-.34 amended. F. May 21, 2014; eff. June 10, 2014.

Chapter 616-1-3 entitled "Rules of Procedure for the Georgia Tax Tribunal" adopted. F. Mar. 4, 2015; eff. Mar. 24, 2015.

Rules 616-1-2-.03 and 616-1-2-.19 amended. Rule 616-1-2-.44 adopted. F. Feb. 8, 2019; eff. Feb. 28, 2019.

Rules 616-1-1-.01 through .07, 616-1-2-.01 through .05, .07 through .41, .43 and .44 amended. Rule 616-1-2-.06 repealed. F. June 22, 2020; eff. July 12, 2020.

Note: Rule 616-1-2-.01, the incorrect Rule was posted on the SOS Rules and Regulations website July 2020 through August 2020, due to an administrative error. The correct Rule, as amended by filing on June 22, 2020; effective July 12, 2020, was updated on the website September 1, 2020.
