Rule 120-2-72-.02 - Purpose

Current through Rules and Regulations filed through March 20, 2024

The purpose of this Regulation Chapter is:

(a) to provide for the proper and expeditious investigation and prosecution of fraudulent insurance acts through the establishment of a Special Insurance Fraud Fund;

(b) to establish guidelines for the administration of the Special Insurance Fraud Fund, including the annual assessment of insurers doing business in this State;

(c) to provide terms and conditions for the use of the funds of the Special Insurance Fraud Fund.
