The purpose of the Quality Growth Grant Program is to provide eligible recipients with state financial assistance for the implementation of quality growth initiatives that are outside the typical scope of other grant or loan sources. Quality growth initiatives are any activities that promote better management of growth and development so that growth enhances, rather than detracts from, the quality of life in a community. Pursuant to O.C.G.A. Sec. 50-8-8, the Quality Growth Grant Program shall be administered by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs.
