Chapter 69C-5 - CASH MANAGEMENT CONSULTATION
Section 69C-5.003 - Definitions

For the purposes of these rules, the following definitions apply:
(1) "Agency" or "State Agency" means any official, officer, commission, board, authority, council, committee, or department of the executive branch or the judicial branch of state government.
(2) "Agency Coordinator" means the individual designated by the Agency to coordinate Agency efforts with those of the Cash Manager.
(3) "Cash Concentration System" means an integrated statewide funds pooling mechanism designed to expedite the movement of funds to the Chief Financial Officer to make them available for investment opportunities in accordance with the statutory charge contained in chapter 17, F.S.
(4) "Cash Management" means the efficient handling of financial assets under the control of the Chief Financial Officer and of the various State Agencies.
(5) "Cash Management Consultation" or "Consultation" means a formal engagement for the purpose of making a comprehensive review of current operating practices related to banking and internal procedures for the administration of revenues and disbursements.
(6) "Cash Management Officer" means the Chief Financial Officer.
(7) "Cash Manager" means the individual designated by the Chief Financial Officer who is charged with the design and execution of Cash Management Consultations.
(8) "Supervision" means to have general oversight over, to superintend or to inspect.
(9) "Chief Financial Officer" means the Chief Financial Officer of the State of Florida.
