Chapter 68D-36 - MINIMUM STANDARDS FOR MANDATORY BOATING SAFETY COURSES
Section 68D-36.102 - Definitions

For the purposes of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply:

(1) "Photographic identification" for purposes of this chapter, means a form of identification issued by a governmental agency, employer, training facility, or educational institution which includes the following for the individual to whom it is issued:

(a) The individual's full name.

(b) The individual's current street address including: the house or lot number; the street name or number; the apartment or unit number if applicable; the city, state and zip code if within the United States; the city, state or province, postal code if applicable, and the country if not within the United States.

(c) The individual's date of birth.

(d) A photograph not more than six years old of the face of the individual.

(e) The name of the governmental agency, employer, educational institution, or training facility that issued the identification.

(2) "Training facility" means a school or other sponsoring organization that offers to the public boating safety courses that meet the minimum standards established by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators.
