Chapter 64J-4 - PRESCRIPTION DRUG DONATION REPOSITORY PROGRAM
Section 64J-4.001 - General and Definitions

(1) Participation in the Florida Prescription Drug Donation Repository Program is optional. Nothing in this chapter requires medical facilities or pharmacies licensed in this state to donate, accept, or dispense prescription drugs or supplies pursuant to this chapter.

(2) For the purpose of this chapter, a "medical facility" is a health care practitioner's office, a hospital with a closed drug delivery system, nursing home with a closed drug delivery system, or a free or nonprofit health clinic that is licensed or permitted to dispense medicinal drugs in the state.
