A licensee must post and provide to personnel lock-out procedures that prevent employees from entering the radiation beam during maintenance, repairs, or other work in, on, or around a bin, tank, hopper or pipe on which a device is mounted. The department is authorized to require a physical barrier around certain types of devices where the possibility exists that an individual could be exposed to the beam of radiation.
