Section 64B8-14.005 - Effect of LCME Accreditation

Any foreign medical school which has been approved and accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) and which holds such accreditation in good standing at the time its application for certification is pending with the Department shall be deemed to have satisfied the standards for certification set forth in Rule Chapter 64B8-15, F.A.C., pursuant to Section 458.314, F.S., and shall be automatically certified by the Department on that basis.
