Section 64B24-5.004 - Retired Status License

(1) A licensee may place an active or inactive license in retired status at any time. If the license is placed in retired status at the time of renewal, the licensee shall pay the retired status fee. If the license is placed in retired status at any other time the licensee shall also pay the change of status processing fee.

(2) A licensee may request to reactivate a retired status license. Such request shall be in writing and must demonstrate compliance with Section 456.036(12), F.S.

(3) For a license in retired status over five years, the licensee also must successfully complete an approved four-month pre-licensure course and submit a general emergency care plan.
