Chapter 64B13-11 - INACTIVE STATUS
Section 64B13-11.001 - Inactive Status

(1) Any licensee may elect at the time of license renewal to place the license into inactive status by paying the inactive status fee of subsection 64B13-6.001(3), F.A.C.
(2) An inactive status licensee may change to active status at any time provided the licensee meets the requirements of Rule 64B13-5.001, F.A.C., for each biennium for which their license has been inactive:
(3) An inactive status licensee whose license has been in inactive status for more than two consecutive biennial licensure cycles and who applies for active status may change to active status at any time provided the licensee meets the following requirements:
(4) Pursuant to Section 463.015(1)(a), F.S., it is unlawful to practice optometry with an inactive license.
