Chapter 64B12-15 - CONTINUING EDUCATION
Section 64B12-15.007 - Requirements for Approved Providers

(1) Approved providers must comply with the following requirements to maintain their status:
(a) Assure that each course
offered complies with Rule
64B12-15.003, F.A.C.
(b) Comply with all provisions of this
Chapter, the rules of the Board and Department and applicable statutory
provisions.
(c) All advertising for
courses shall contain the approved provider's assigned provider number and
shall not contain any false, deceptive or misleading material.
(d) Provide to the Board or Department any
information requested regarding compliance with this chapter, the rules of the
Department or Board and pertinent statutory provisions. All such information
requested shall be reasonably related to the Board's and Department's duty to
review and monitor approved providers.
(e) Provide that course offerings are
reasonably accessible to all licensed opticians and not solely to those who
maintain membership in various organizations. Although reasonable fee variances
for participants are permitted, excessive fee variances among participants are
prohibited.
(2) Upon a determination that an approved provider is failing to comply with this Rule, the Board and Department shall review the approved provider to determine whether approval should be rescinded pursuant to Rule 64B12-15.004, F.A.C.
