Chapter 64B11-2 - ADMISSION OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS
Section 64B11-2.006 - Examination; Passing Grade

The examination to be used for licensure by examination shall be that examination developed by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy Practice (NBCOT). Every applicant for licensure by examination shall obtain at least the passing score as determined by NBCOT. Every applicant shall request the scores be sent to the Board by the professional examination service. Licensure shall not be granted without proof of passing score. Applicants approved for licensure contingent upon passage of the examination shall have twelve months from the date of approval by the Board to take the examination and submit proof of scores. Any requests for information concerning examination results (areas of weakness, if failed, etc.) should be sent directly to the professional examination service.
