Section 6A-4.02451 - Florida Teacher Standards for ESOL Endorsement

The competencies and indicators required for approval of educator preparation programs pursuant to Rule 6A-5.066, F.A.C., and for district in-service add-on programs pursuant to Section 1012.575, F.S., for the Endorsement in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), are contained in the publication, "Florida Teacher Standards for ESOL Endorsement 2010, " which is hereby incorporated by reference and made a part of this rule. These competencies are published on the Bureau of Student Achievement through Language Acquisition, Department of Education website at www.fldoe.org/aala/perstand.asp. Copies of this publication may also be obtained from the Bureau of Student Achievement through Language Acquisition, K-12 Public Schools, Department of Education, 325 West Gaines Street, Room 501, Tallahassee, Florida 32300-0400. The standards set forth in Florida Teacher Standards for ESOL Endorsement 2010 shall be incorporated into all teacher preparation programs and district in-service add-on programs not later than September 1, 2011.
