Wells shall be covered and sealed in accordance with paragraph 62-532.500(4)(a), F.A.C., incorporated by reference in paragraph 40E-3.036(1)(c), F.A.C.
(1) Permanent Well Seals.
(a) Wells shall be properly sealed to prevent
the movement of contaminants and surface water into the well.
(b) The top of the well casing shall at a
minimum extend 12 inches above land surface and if practical, 12 inches above
the 100-year flood elevation.
