Section 27E-1.002 - Comprehensive Planning Regions

The territorial area of the State of Florida is hereby subdivided into the following regions for the purposes of regional comprehensive planning:

District 1 - Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Bay, Holmes and Washington Counties

District 2 - Jackson, Calhoun, Gulf, Liberty, Franklin, Gadsden, Leon, Wakulla, and Jefferson Counties

District 3 - Madison, Taylor, Hamilton, Suwannee, Lafayette, Dixie, Gilchrist, Alachua, Bradford, Union, and Columbia Counties

District 4 - Nassau, Duval, Baker, Clay, St. Johns, Putnam, and Flagler Counties

District 5 - Levy, Marion, Citrus, Sumter, and Hernando Counties

District 6 - Lake, Volusia, Seminole, Orange, Brevard, and Osceola Counties

District 7 - Polk, Hardee, DeSoto, Highlands, and Okeechobee Counties

District 8 - Pasco, Pinellas, Hillsborough and Manatee Counties

District 9 - Sarasota, Charlotte, Lee, Collier, Glades, and Hendry Counties

District 10 - St. Lucie, Martin, Palm Beach, and Indian River Counties

District 11 - Broward, Dade, and Monroe Counties
